We have tried to make our Guest Book service as easy as possible to use but sometimes you might run into a problem that you need a quick answer to.
Q. How come when I click on
the link that should take me back to my own website does not work or I get an
error page?
A. Please check the URL you have entered for the "Return To Main
Website URL". You must include the full URL (example http://www.sunshineguestbooks.com)
In most cases we have seen the http:// was left off or it was just a miss-spelling
of the URL.
Q. How do I add an image at
the top of my guestbook like the one on sunshineguestbooks.com?
A. When signing up or in the tools area you can add a link to any image
you would like as the header to your guestbook. Make sure the path to the image
is already uploaded somewhere on the internet, you can not "upload"
the image it must be Linked. (Example
http://www.sunshineguestbooks.com/images/gbheader.gif) See how we have the
complete URL/Path of where the image is located on our website? To find this
path just find the image on your website, right click and then look at the
properties.
Q. I linked to the graphic I
want in my guestbook but all I get is a Red X, what is wrong?
A. Double check the path and make sure you have the full thing typed in.
Make sure that the path to the image does not have any spaces in the name or
URL. If you need help please let us know and we will set it up for you.
Q. The links inside my
guestbooks are the same color as the background I picked, how do I change that?
A. The guestbook links are standard HTML links and controlled basically
by the default Link Colors you have set up as default in your browser. To change
the link color Open Internet Explorer click TOOLS >> INTERNET OPTIONS
>> at the bottom of that box you will see a COLORS Button, click that
button and set your link colors to whatever colors you would like to see.
Important to remember that will change the default color on ALL Websites you
visit.
Q. I set up an account but I
can't get logged into the tools area to make changes?
A. Make sure you are typing in the correct user name and password, both
are CaSe SensiTive so make sure you have typed those exactly like you set up. If

you signed up and the user name and password that you Think you used.
