In my life there have been good and bad moments. But the first good thing that happened to me was when I met Miss Athena. It was perfect that I've got to stay with her for three years. I've had a very good time. I've learned a lot from her. Always before the lesson someone would hide, or play a trick, try to scare Miss or we'd write something horrible on the board for her to see. I will remember all these things. They are unforgettable. On her birthday we had lots of fun. We always would have a cake for her, lots of food, chips sweets and we gave her presents.
BUT of course, I'll always remember those big tests of hers, or her voice when someone would make a mistake! Funny! If someone didn't understand something she would always try to explain. It was fun when it was student teacher's day and Marina was our teacher and Miss Athena was a student. I don't think there were any bad times with Miss Athena and I finally want to say a very big "Thank you" to her for all those years which passed so quickly and so good.

Another year has gone but it wasn't the same as the others. Because we knew that Miss Athena wouldn't teach us next year. She is a very good and funny teacher. She was always willing to teach us something new but SOMETIMES I wasn't willing to learn it! She has been teaching us for four years. At first it was very difficult for me, but now it isn't. I think that all of us learned the most vocabulary with Miss Athena. She touches us in a special way. During the lesson we all had fun, and there were times when we did jokes and she screamed playfully. We learned so much. Miss Athena I want to give you cONGRATULATIONS

I'm very happy because we have lived lots of beautiful and funny moments with you, but I'm very sad because these moments will stay only as remembrances in our mind. I remember the first time I met you. You were happy and beautiful as always. The lessons with you weren't boring and we had fun. I remember the parties we've done for your birthday. They were very nice and we had a lot of fun. I remember how happy you were that day! 
We had played lots of games and took lots of photos! Of course there was always lots of homework and lots of tests. THEY were boring but I know that without work, we would go nowhere! I liked your play screams when someone made a silly mistake! We all laughed and thought that was funny! We never wanted to make a mistake again after that!
Finally, I want to wish the girls that do have to take the finals, "Good luck" so that they can get good marks so they can still be with us next year. I don't want our family to break. I want us to be all together. I want to be with Miss Athena, too but I know that can not happen. I'm very sad about that. I love you very much and I think that you are the best and the funniest teacher I've ever met. I love you, Miss.

I held me mother's hand strongly. I wanted to cry! BUT soon the other girls in the class spoke to me nicely and they were very friendly and then I felt comfortable! Then You Miss Athena, came into the class! You welcomed us. The rest of the time is a wonderful memory. The homework was tiring and hard. I learned so much grammar and your "piece of cake" was huge! My pronunciation became better. Listening and Vocab labs were hard but you helped me. I liked the activities we did. Singing Christmas caroles in the streets. The last year with you passed quickly and happily. It was more difficult than the rest but we learned so much! I really liked the project work. It was interesting and original. I'll remember your methods and all your tricks. You are the best English teacher I ever had. Next year will be different. No more "baby" photocopies, no more coupons, no more jokes.

Our teacher for the last three years was Miss Athena! She is an excellent teacher. She taught us a lot of things. She taught us to speak English with good pronunciation. The students that get Miss Athena are VERY lucky!
She is the best English teacher I every had! She gave us a lot to do but that was the only way for us to grow. We made a lot of jokes and had fun. I think she has A LOT of patience because she never shouted at us about them! Nevermind three years have passed and so have a few jokes and TESTS!  She helped us a lot and I'm sure she is very proud of us. Now, are time is done and we have to say "goodbye", and we thank you very much. With her help we all will pass the exams, I'm sure.

I would like to take a trip with you and my classmates into the past about three years ago! September 2001! When for the first time we entered Miss Athena's classroom door. We all were only about 9-10 years old. We knew very little about the English language and I was frightened in the beginning but my fear became joy when I met her! I realised that she was a very good teacher and fun. The lessons were always perfect. I remember with happiness all those moments that we passed together. I remember happily all the tricks we played, the jokes in class, the competitions, the games that we played, the surprise parties that we had, the Mardi Gras parties, etc. I also remember "unfortunately" the hard work, the tests and ALL the homework that we got! Now, I can't believe that those small girls who were her students for three years have to tell her "Goodbye".
It's very difficult for me to say it. I'll have a lot of beautiful memories from this class. My feelings are hard to describe so I can only say "thank you" Miss Athena, for everything!

The sea is hot and the beaches are full of people. The days are sunny and life for students is much better!
I feel very nice and I am very happy that the summer is here. My heart and brain always travels and I imagine games in the sea and the walks in my village.
 
But, I'm a little sad because I will lose some very good friends and teachers. Next year, I will be ready for my new school year. I love all my friends and all the teachers at Travlos SFL.
Miss Athena, You are a very good teacher! You are the best teacher of all! Next year I will try more and more. You don't have to worry about that!

A year has finished and I will be happy to tell you what we've been through so I'll narrate how the year passed for you to see the students' pain!
For example! I rush home at 2 o'clock, wash my hands eat lunch, run upstairs and do my homework and out the door at 4 o'clock, pick up my Maro drive like crazy to get to class on time Soooo upstairs we run to get to Miss Athena's classroom on time! For...more grammar, vocabulary, exercises, AND tests (our biggest nightmare! )
Among all this we also had our fun, of course. We baked, sang and wrote spooky stories. So, I guess the year has ended with a bang and we are happy because we need a vacation to refill our batteries! | | Admin Delete |

I've learnt a lot of things this year. I learned new tenses, new minor grammar, more vocabulary and in general with M. Athena's help I've learned more about the English language and culture.
As in every year...Miss Athena always gives us a Christmas project for the holidays. This year we got to read our first novel and we had to write about it, too! We had to learn how to do a summary of the book, how to describe its heroes, how to compare ourselves with the heroes and how to express our opinion about the book. It was a very difficult and different project. BUT I studied hard and finally I presented it really well. It was my first time and now I know how to do it. The project for Easter holidays was difficult, too! Seven topics to write essays about! AND we had to learn them all by heart! During the year we had other fun activities, tests, computer lessons, Christmas carols, the fantastic Carnival party. I enjoyed this year very much! I really love English, thanks to this school and I'm learning in a very special way. I hope every year in the future will be like this one. On June 1st, Miss Athena is taking us out for icecream all together! It'll be perfect but it'll be the last day that we'll be together. Goodbye everybody! See you next year! | | Admin Delete |

Now it's summer and the English courses are finished. I'm both happy and sad! I'm happy because it's summer and I don't have to study all the time. I can play with my friends all day! I can swim in the sea and build castles in the sand! I will feel free! BUT I'm sad because I must part from my English classmates where I had so many happy moments. My classmates were very good friends. They love me and I love them. This year we played a lot of games and we learned a lot together. We always had a lot of suspense and anxiety for the test results. We love our teacher, Miss Athena very much.
Miss Athena is the best teacher in the world. She is funny and beautiful. We enjoy her lessons a lot. She made fantastic lessons. She is our friend and our second mom. She wants the very best for us. She is happy all the time. She comforts us in our sadnesses. She loves us very much and we love her. We had Miss Athena for a second time. She is very good. She gave us a lot of homework but we know it's for our best. We spoke only English of course and we had lots of tests! All the lessons were a lot of fun and easy except the new lesson of Listening! I hated it! I would prefer to do more tests than to do listenings! My favourite homework were the crossword puzzles Miss Athena makes. We always play a lot of games to about spelling and grammar. I like them. We wrote a lot of essays. is the funniest of all. It is the second year with her and we learnt so many new things I can't count them all. New grammar! New verbs! New words! We did projects! ' We read books! We played games!
We wrote a lot of tests! We spoke English in class all the time! We had difficulties BUT we overcame them!

Me and my classmates worked VERY hard this year! It was a difficult but fun year! We enjoyed it alot!
In September, when I opened the door of the class, I saw Miss Athena taller than last year! I said, "Oh, my God!" I was very frightened!
In October and in November we worked hard. We wrote a lot of tests and we learned a lot of new grammar. We also had a lot of homework, too! We started something new! Listening! In the beginning we weren't very good at it but then, slowly we got better and better!
In December Miss Athena gave us an English book to read. She told us that we must write an essay about this book! We also sang Christmas carols, got our mid year reports and we had a rest!
In January we continued a lot of work. We also had a cooking project and we had to show how we made some food or sweets. We wore white cooking hats and aprons. It was fantastic! In February we worked but had we had a wonderful carnival party.
Time went fast and in March Miss Athena gave us the project for Easter! A difficult project and writing seven essays and we had to learn them all by heart!
In April and May we continued studying but now it's the first of June and we're taking our reports and diplomas. We're also exchanging wishes for a wonderful summer. We worked VERY hard all year long, but we enjoyed it a lot. It was a great year!

Our English school is going to close this week. All the children are happy because this summer they will go to the beaches! There, they will swim, play with the sand and have picnics! All the children are a little bit sad because they won't see their friends in the summer.
This year was different for me. I came to this class for the first time. I was a little frightened on the first lesson but I made friends and then I wasn't frightened anymore.
This year I learned a lot of things. I was good at the lessons and I feel good about myself even though I was only seated seventh in the class.
There were a lot of events that I liked during this year that I did for the first time. At Christmas we went to the square and we sang the Christmas Carols in English, of course! We also had a cooking class. I like that alot because we got to eat what we made and there were a lot of sweets! That was a lot of fun!
