Message:Congratulation to us...our Pre-Proposal has been approved. This mark the first step of our design, next, we need to get into the detail of the design.
This week's task:
Tai + Harshal: look into sample codes from John and explan to group (contact John for help)
Son + aashu: research on current activity relate to our project
Next team meeting: thursday, Nov 4th, at 5:30 PM
(Let go celebrate)

1) Tai will find out how to and get our team register, work on code from John...please help out..
2) Aabshu researh on what's going on with the Reg. Sys. technology to justify our project's purpose
3) Son take care of the abstract, thinking of email John for his expertise...return to WIT if have to....
4) Harshal is capt'n of the week, In charge of turning in paper on Weds, and keeping everything organize...Look ahead for Final pre-proposal...please keep in mind that this proposal might be rejected...try to think of a plan B now so we won't be shocked later.....

Message:Sample Code from John
1) We will need the manual to understand the algorithms. But we know that is is c/c++;
2) MFC is not a vital part, I don't think we will code in MFC since we don't need a GUI for our program. Our program can simply be command line executable such that we can call it in Matlab
3) I have a book on MFC and will jump on top of it after Midterm. By the end of next week, I can have a flow chart of steps to talk to the board. Please let me know if you want the book and we can set up some time to go down to the lab to see the code in action.... then we will have a better understanding of what's going on from scratch....
4) We need to have our own copy of the manual...let find out if we can print it out or make a copy of it, this allow us to read ahead and work outside the lab...
5) I will try to have an idea of what going in on in the code by the end of this week... else we will wait until next week when everyone is done with exams....

Message:Here is my activities report for 10/18 - 10/22:
- 10/18: sent out emails about the requirements for the abstract: location, time, contact, form.
- 10/19: none.
- 10/20: dropped the abstract to Kristine (WIT).
- 10/21: requested meeting for re-writting the abstract by the advice of Dr. Nagvajara and Kristine (WIT). Asshu and Harshal worked on the changes.
- 10/22:
+ 12:00pm: met Kristine (with Tai) at WIT. We discussed about the abstract, also listed the grammar and vocab mistakes.
+ 3:00pm: met Dr. Nagvajara (with Tai and Asshu). Concerned about the email that John sent out; listed the main objectives for each term; sent out email and hard copy of the abstract to Dr. Nagvajara.
