Message:Hello!! :))
Here's some info on the "Musket Cove Treasure" audio clip. The announcer at the beginning is Casey Kasum, of "American Top 40" radio fame. No way to mistake that voice! :)) He announced for NBC-TV in those days as well. I'm not totally sure but I think the Captain was played by character actor Keenan Wynn (the voice sure sounds like him). Nice site, and the only site I've found so far on Boomer!! Unfortunately I didn't watch the show in those days, sounds like I missed out on something!

Message:I used to watch "Here's Boomer" when I was a kid. It was one of my favorite shows. I still love the theme song too.
I've often been wondering what has happened to "Boomer" Johnny after the show was canceled and the filming was over? What happened to him? How and where did he live? When did he die? For some reason, after all the "Boomer-hype" was over, you never heard of him again...
Did Johnny appear in any other series or films?
What happened to the other dog, "Boomer-J"? Is there a photograph anywhere of Johnny and Boomer-J together? I'd like to see one.
Thank you for this great website! I wish there were more sites and information about "Boomer".

Greetings to all Boomer fans!

Message:Like you I´ve recorded TV series on audiotape in my childhood, e.g. "The Fall Guy" or "Riptide". Isn´t it amazing how huge the world is and how equal we´re all? Thanks to the internet that brings us now together!

Boomer is another great old show that is shiploads better than today´s tv-crap. I hope all good old tv series will be available on DVD one day. The only way to see Boomer today is downloading it in German language via bittorent.

Thanks for this site and cheers from the North Sea island of Borkum, Germany.

Jens

Message: Thanks a LOT for this neat site!!! Wish I had your artistic abilities:):0 Great drawings:) U remind me of the "amazing stories" episode with the guy that saved everything from his childhood:)
Also interesting that this show aired (evidently) in other countries...I grew up in Calif. so of course I saw it, but I don't think my husband, who grew up in Ohio, did...(hee-hee) for example, we just talked recently about programs like "the bugaloos" which I rememberbut he never saw...I guess they had different kids' programming for different regions back then..I also remember the "electric company"....which also didn't air in Ohio...but we had cool shows in Ca. back then...anyone remember "That's Cat"...??:) Thanks again..Boomer is SO cute!!!
